Hoist Straps are an accessory that can be used with any of the ProMove manual slings, alongside a spreader bar hoist.

These straps are specifically designed to work with the ProMove range of slings, and each is colour-coordinated to attach to corresponding handles on the ProMove.

When teamed with the ProMove range of manual transfer slings, these straps are ideal for travel or going on holiday.

Please note that these hoist straps are not compatible with hoists that use clip attachments, and you must be sure you understand how to operate your hoist and be aware of its suitability for the individual’s size and weight before use.

Description

Hoist Straps are an accessory that can be used with any of the ProMove manual slings, alongside a spreader bar hoist.

Instructions

When Hoisting

Pass the yellow strap through the two yellow handles, bring the strap back on itself and pass through the ring (as a larks foot knot). Pull tight. Repeat with the blue strap through the blue handles and the two white straps through the two uppermost rear black handles. Place the loops over the hooks on the spreader bar of the hoist using the most appropriate loop on each strap depending on the size of the individual and whether the individual is to be maintained in an upright or reclined position.

 

Please Note

The hoist straps are not compatible with hoists using clip attachments, and the operative must be sure they understand the operation of the hoist and its suitability for the size and weight of the individual before usage.

 

Beware

Application of larks foot knot will reduce the safe working load of the handles.
