A quick update on the Trabasack Curve

The Trabasack Curve has been our most popular model for a long time, so we know it’s frustrating to see it marked as out of stock. Demand rose sharply in the run-up to Christmas, and that surge came just as we were already finalising our next production run. The result is a longer gap than we’d hoped between shipments.

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience this causes, especially for people who rely on the Curve day to day.

Why the next shipment is taking longer

Trabasack is still a small, independent company. Planning large production orders is a careful balancing act, particularly when sales don’t always follow neat forecasts. When demand jumped just before Christmas, we had to make a decision: rush production to restock quickly, or slow things down slightly to make sure the next batch meets the quality standards people expect from us.

We chose quality. Every Trabasack is meant to support independence and everyday access, and that only works if the build, materials, and finish are right. The next shipment of Trabasack Curve bags is now scheduled to arrive in March 2026.

Good news for the year ahead

Looking ahead, there’s something positive to share. We’ll be partnering with Active Hands to help make Trabasack products more widely available in the new year. This means better international access through a growing network of trusted resellers, so fewer people are affected by stock gaps like this in future.

It’s an important step in making sure our designs reach disabled people wherever they are, not just those who can order directly from us.

In-stock alternatives you can use now

If you need a Trabasack sooner, there are two good alternatives currently available:

• Trabasack Curve Connect
  This has the same curved shape as the Curve but features a fabric surface rather than the hard tray. Many people find it works just as well for everyday tasks.
• Mini Trabasack
  The Mini has a rectangular shape, with the same practical surface area in a more compact format. It’s a popular choice for lighter setups or tighter spaces.

Both options are in stock and ready to ship.
